FIELD: seismic isolating devices of buildings and structures.
SUBSTANCE: pipe-concrete seismic-isolating support consists of a pipe-concrete column with hinged joints with the foundation and the ceiling, two embedded parts in the form of steel plates and steel cylinders rigidly connected to them, included in the body of the pipe-concrete column and having a diameter from 0.05 to 0.25 of its transverse diameter section, as well as vibration dampers located in the upper and lower parts of the column in the space between the steel plate, the side surface of the steel cylinder and the inner surface of the pipe of the pipe-concrete column, consisting of at least one layer of vibration damper elements made of material with strength R > 1.5 × Rb, where Rb is the concrete strength of the pipe-concrete column, whereas the free space between the inner surface of the pipe and the layers of elements is filled with elastic material. The vibration dampers are made of elements in the form of regular pyramids with square bases and elements in the form of tetrahedrons, and the bases of each row of pyramids are located horizontally and are in close contact with adjacent elements of the row with their edges, and the tops of the pyramids of each row touch the junction points of the bases of four adjacent pyramids of another row. Tetrahedra fill part of the empty space formed between the side surfaces of the regular pyramids of the upper and lower rows, and the side of the base of each pyramid has the size: a < 0.25(db – dc ), where: db is the concrete core of the pipe-concrete column, mm, dc is the diameter of the steel cylinder, mm, and the height of all layers of vibration dampers is h≤ 0.5(db – dc ) .
EFFECT: increased efficiency of compensation for horizontal and vertical dynamic impacts on a building during earthquakes.
