SUBSTANCE: device relates to technology for determining the friction coefficients of bulk materials. A device for determining the internal friction coefficients of static and motion of bulk materials contains a base, a vertical axis, a lower annular chamber mounted for rotation relative to the vertical axis, a drive for rotating the lower chamber, a unit for determining torque relative to the vertical axis, including a force measuring unit and a load ring , the device is additionally equipped with an upper annular chamber mounted on a vertical axis using rolling bearings, consisting of two cylindrical shells connected to each other, and a unit for determining the torque of the upper chamber relative to the vertical axis is made in the form of a cable, one edge of which is connected to the outer surface the upper chamber, the second is connected through a block to a weight installed on the scales, and part of the cable is wound on the outer surface of the upper chamber, the gap between the upper and lower chambers is no more than 0.1 mm.
EFFECT: increased information content and accuracy of determining the friction coefficients of bulk materials.
