FLOW FILTER Russian patent published in 2024 - IPC B01D29/11

Abstract RU 2812566 C1

FIELD: filters.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for separating mechanical and other particles, namely, flow-through filters that retain mechanical and adhesive particles from flowing liquid, which comprises a replaceable cartridge. The flow filter includes a housing with a removable cover, forming an internal container, inlet and outlet channels. It also includes a flow-through tubular cartridge inserted into the inner container, forming a cavity along the perimeter between the housing and the cartridge, connected with the outlet channel. The inside of the cartridge is configured to communicate with the inlet channel. The inlet and outlet channels are installed externally and radially relative to the housing, which is made open and bottom, and is also equipped on the inside with an inverted U-shaped protrusion with transverse internal grooves, covering the entrance to the inlet channel housing and extending to the upper edge of the housing. The tubular cartridge is equipped with axial studs with threads at the end at the top and bottom, and on the side of the inlet channel with an additional vertical rectangular chamber with holes at the top on the inner wall of the chamber for communication with the cartridge from the inside and retention of large mechanical impurities, constituting 30-50% of all mechanical impurities. From the outside, the chamber is equipped with an inverted U-shaped protrusion, reaching the upper edge of the chamber, communicating with the camera from the inside and interacting along the outer surface with the U-shaped protrusion of the housing. A reflector shield is installed between the holes on the inner wall of the chamber and the U-shaped protrusion. The cross-sectional area of the chamber is chosen such that the speed of the upward flow in it is less than the speed of deposition of large mechanical impurities. The cover is made flat at the bottom with a seal and is equipped with a side around the perimeter to cover the housing from the outside. The housing is also equipped with a removable bottom, made in the form of an inverted lid. The lid and the bottom are equipped with central holes designed to interact tightly with the corresponding studs and be sealed due to the sealing of the pressing of the corresponding planes to the ends of the housing, cartridge and chamber using the corresponding main nut interacting with the threads of the corresponding stud. EFFECT: proposed flow filter is easy to manufacture and maintain due to no complex bends in the inlet channel and a small number of connections, which allows operation for a long time without maintenance (increases the period between scheduled maintenance) due to several degrees of liquid purification and a large area of the fine filter cartridge.
