FIELD: separation; concentration; purification of solutions.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in the chemical, engineering, food industry, and the agricultural sector. A distinctive feature of a tubular-type electric pressure membrane apparatus is that on the internal surfaces of the housing and concentric filter elements there are grooves in the shape of a semicircle with a near-anode, near-cathode drainage grid laid over the entire surface, connected to longitudinal channels in the grid, a microporous substrate serving as an anode electrode, an electrode-cathode, near-anode, near-cathode membrane, respectively. The overflow holes are made in the shape of a hyperboloid for circulation of the separated solution. At the bottom of the end caps there are fittings for acidic and alkaline permeate. The pipe, which serves to remove separation products, is hermetically installed in the inner surface of the central pipe and is made with a socket.
EFFECT: increase in the area of solution separation per unit volume of the apparatus, an increase in the productivity and quality of solution separation, an improvement in turbulization and cooling of the separated solution, a decrease in the effect of concentration polarization on the path of removal of the retentate and near-cathode, near-anode permeate.
