SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of organic dyes for colouring polymer materials, specifically to a method of producing a red oligomeric dye based on 1-aminoanthraquinone for colouring thermoplastics by reacting the oligoepoxyether with 3-((9,10-dioxo-9,10-dihydroanthracen-1-yl) amino)propanoic acid, characterized in that the process is carried out in the presence of dimethylmyristylamine at a temperature of 150°C for 1 hour.
EFFECT: ensuring the synthesis of the target red dye, which has high migration resistance and thermal stability under milder conditions.
