FIELD: polymer compositions.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions can be used for high-temperature processing of polymer compositions. The method for producing a phosphorus-containing fire-resistant agent involves interaction at a temperature of 105°C or higher of a metal compound with a stoichiometric excess of an alkyl-substituted phosphonic acid. The metal compound is an oxide or alkoxide of aluminium or iron. Alkyl-substituted phosphonic acid is in a molten state at the reaction temperature. The molar ratio of alkyl-substituted phosphonic acid and metal compound is above 4:1. A variant of the method for producing a phosphorus-containing fire-resistant agent, a phosphorus-containing fire-resistant agent and a fire-resistant material are also proposed.
EFFECT: group of inventions makes it possible to increase the thermal stability of a phosphorus-containing fire-resistant agent.
