SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a method of diagnosing and monitoring erosive and ulcerative lesions of the oral mucosa and a device for its implementation. The affected area is determined by photographing the area of erosive and ulcerative lesions of the mucous membrane. Based on the images obtained, the morphological composition of the affected area, the affected area and the areas of the constituent elements of the affected area are determined. The electrical conductivity of the mucous membrane in the affected area and adjacent tissues is measured. The patient's pain sensitivity is determined by questionnaire and the perifocal zone of inflammation is assessed for the presence of exudate by visual inspection and palpation. The obtained data is transferred to a personal computer for processing and analysis. The device contains a camera connected to a personal computer, an analog-to-digital converter, conductors and an energy source. The measuring unit of the device is made in the form of a pad for placement inside the oral cavity made of non-conductive material with a built-in grid of interconnected electrodes. The electrodes protrude at one end beyond the surface of the pad with the possibility of contact with the affected mucosal surface. The pad is connected to the computer via an analog-to-digital converter. Determination without any distortion of the linear dimensions and area of damage to the oral mucosa is achieved with the ability to assess the border of perifocal inflammation.

EFFECT: accuracy of differential diagnosis of erosive and ulcerative lesions increases with monitoring the dynamics of healing and the ability to monitor the lesion during treatment.
