SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for manufacturing sealed disposable containers for food products. The technical result is to simplify the method of manufacturing sealed disposable containers for food products and eliminate the need to seal the capsule rim. The technical result is achieved by a method for manufacturing sealed disposable containers for food products, such as coffee capsules for use in a beverage preparation system, which includes moulding a container body having a peripheral rim, the container body and the rim having a circular cross-section; placing the container body into a sealing head having a first die and a second die, one of which is movable, the first die and the second die having cooperating annular sealing surfaces facing the rim; placing the lid on top of the container body; sealing the lid onto the rim of the container body by applying the first stamp and the second stamp to each other. In this case, an annular rib is provided on the sealing surface of the first stamp. The rib has a height that is equal to the maximum depth of creases that can be formed on the rim when moulding the container body, and creates a sealing groove on the side of the rim when sealing the closure lid with the container body. Moreover, the cover is attached to the rim in the area in front of the sealing groove. Here, the container body is made from a sheet of paper/polylactic acid (PLA) laminate material, and the first die is the bottom die of the vertical press, and the second die is the top die. Moreover, a sealing groove is created on the underside of the rim.
EFFECT: simplifying the method of manufacturing sealed disposable containers for food products and eliminate the need to seal the capsule rim.
