FIELD: rotary cutting tools.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to rotary cutting tools with a tool holder having a plurality of insert cartridges held therein. The tool holder has a holder body and an adjusting sleeve located circumferentially around it. The adjusting sleeve has at least one sleeve adjustment groove, which is reduced by a distance from the central axis of the sleeve in the direction of rotation of the sleeve. The tool holder further has a plurality of insert cartridges, each of which has an insert seat and at least one cartridge pin. At least one pin is located in a corresponding adjustment groove of the bushing. The tool holder is adjustable between the inner and outer adjusted positions by rotating the adjusting sleeve in the direction of rotation of the sleeve. In another adjusted position, the plate cassettes are offset in the outer adjustment direction such that the plate seats are radially outward compared to the inboard adjusted position.
EFFECT: ensures regulation of the radial position of the cutting inserts and thereby the cutting diameter.
