SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machining of materials and can be used for surface processing by rotating cutting tool. Tool comprises a tool holder and a tool body attached to it with possibility of detachment. Tool body comprises cutting part that comprises peripheral recesses for insert to retain cutting insert. Tool holder contains a control structure, which contains a displacing element attached to the tool holder and comprising a shifting part. Cutting part can be adjusted between non-bent and curved positions. In bent position, cutting part is elastically deformed in front direction due to shifting interaction with displacing part, thus providing adjustment of axial position of recess for insert and cutting insert.

EFFECT: providing accurate axial location of cutting inserts and possibility of controlling cutting width.
