FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, namely to electromagnetic drives of high power. The object of the invention is a rotor of an electromagnetic engine or a generator with a radial flow, having at least one cylindrical support, on which a set of magnets (4) is placed. At least one support contains cylindrical lattice (5a) having cells. Each of cells limits socket (5) for corresponding separate magnet (4). In this case, each socket (5) has sufficient internal dimensions, which allow for introduction of separate magnet (4) inside it. At the same time, a space filled with resin reinforced with fibers is left between socket (5) and separate magnet (4). In this case, lattice (5a) is made of insulation material reinforced with fibers. The rotor contains a layer of non-conducting composite, covering separate magnets (4) and lattice (5a).

EFFECT: reduction in losses for optimal performance due to compactness obtained due to reduction in weight and dimensions of a radial engine, as well as provision of high mechanical strength of a rotating part for increase in the reliability of a system.
