FIELD: passenger transport.
SUBSTANCE: installation for transporting people contains a lower and an upper station, an inclined path, at least one traction rope, a stationary device for operating the rope, and a vehicle. The vehicle for transporting people along an inclined path of the rope transport installation contains a carriage, a cabin support, a braking device, a shock absorber, and a sliding joint. The carriage is configured to move by means of at least one rope. The shock absorber is connected to the braking device located on board and to the cabin support and is configured to convert the kinetic energy of the cabin support into heat. The brake device is rigidly connected to the carriage. A sliding joint is located between the cabin support and the carriage to guide the movement of the cabin support relative to the carriage along a damping path.
EFFECT: ability to provide passenger transport along ascending paths or trajectories with complex profiles and geometries while maintaining passenger comfort and ensuring their safety.
