FIELD: nanocellulose material.
SUBSTANCE: present invention is related to a method for the production of nanocellulose material based on the use of fractionation of the cellulose pulp stream from pre-treatment or mechanical defibrillation in combination with mechanical defibrillation steps, where the useful material fraction and the waste fraction can be transported in a consistency control step to eliminate another separate defibrillation step. The suitable material is transported to consistency control before the second defibrillation stage, while the waste is transported to another independent consistency control stage for return to the first mechanical defibrillation stage.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to obtain nanocellulose of higher quality in terms of morphology and rheology.
