FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: device includes the main cap for mounting on the outer side of the wheel disc, made in the form of a circle with through radial and central holes, the diameter of which exceeds the diameter of the disc, but is less than the outer diameter of the wheel by the value of dynamic deflection of the tire in the vertical plane. Device contains an additional cap for its mounting on the inner side of the disc on the wheel hub. Additional cap is made in the form of a circle with through radial and central holes coinciding with holes in the main cap. Additional cap has a stepped shape with the possibility of conjugation of its surface with the inner surface of the disc facing the hub. Diameter of additional cap exceeds diameter of disc, but is less than outer diameter of wheel by value of dynamic deflection of tire in vertical plane.
EFFECT: higher protection of vehicle wheel tire against side cuts and punctures.
