FIELD: packaging; weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to packing with cell-type grid inserts intended for small arms cartridges. Cardboard package with a grid for small arms cartridges includes a housing with a bottom and side walls, cover installed in the housing, a separating grid of U-shaped longitudinal and transverse elements – lamellae, which form cells. Longitudinal sides of the lamellae in the upper part are equipped with recesses uniformly distributed along the entire length of the lamellae so that when forming the separation grid, they are located in the middle of each side of the cell. On the longitudinal lamellae, between the recesses, there are guiding cutouts for installation of transverse lamellae in them by means of slots made on the bases and on the longitudinal sides of the transverse lamellae. Along the whole length of each slot there is a perforation contour and/or creasing.
EFFECT: higher reliability of box design.
