FIELD: internal combustion engines.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in devices for heating fuel of automobile and tractor internal combustion engines. A device for heating fuel before starting and during operation of an internal combustion engine at low temperatures consists of a heat accumulator (2) connected in series with a fuel heat exchanger, shut-off solenoid valves of the fuel heat exchanger, an electric fuel pump (8), fuel lines and a fuel rail. The device is equipped with a processor, an electromagnetic control valve (1) and a temperature sensor (7). The temperature sensor (7) is configured to transmit a signal to a processor that controls the position of the damper of the electromagnetic control valve (1). The device is configured to open the shut-off electromagnetic valves of the fuel heat exchanger of the heat accumulator (2), turn on the electric fuel pump (8), and shut off the fuel line from the fuel tank (3) with the electromagnetic distribution valve (1) before starting. This ensures fuel circulation in the fuel rail - heat accumulator (2) - fuel rail system. Immediately before starting the engine, simultaneously with the ignition being turned on, the standard fuel pump of the power supply system starts and the electromagnetic distribution valve (1) opens, allowing fuel to pass from the fuel tank (3) to the heat accumulator (2) and the fuel rail.

EFFECT: ensuring a guaranteed engine starting process and reducing wear of parts and assemblies at low temperatures.
