FIELD: engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in internal combustion engine (ICE) fuel supply systems. Fuel temperature is controlled by an air-liquid heat exchanger located on fuel supply line 10 from fuel tank 9 to ICE, consisting of three isolated cavities 14–16 for passage of air, fuel and circulation of heated liquid of ICE cooling system. Cooling of fuel passing through cavity 15 of heat exchanger is carried out due to heat exchange with cold air flow leaving vortex tube 3 and passing through cavity 14 of heat exchanger. Fuel passing through heat exchanger cavity 15 is heated by means of heat exchange with the heated liquid of the ICE cooling system passing through heat exchanger cavity 16. Line 22 for supplying heated liquid of the ICE cooling system to external cavity 16 of the air-liquid heat exchanger contains throttle 23 with electric step motor 24, which is controlled by electronic control unit 2.
EFFECT: reduction of accompanying costs of ICE power for drive of units providing fuel temperature control.
