FIELD: drilling.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for drilling a directional well route in a coal mine. Method involves excavation at an extraction area. It also includes ventilation of mine workings. Besides, it includes determination of mining face movement rate and location of drilling rig in network of workings. Method also includes coaxial direction of well drilling and sealing of the wellhead against air leaks. Method also includes connecting the well to a degassing pipeline and extracting methane. Method also involves determination of geometrical parameters of bedding of adjacent coal beds relative to the developed bed. Also, composition of rocks between beds is determined. Also, coal samples are taken and methane content is determined. Well route is oriented in the direction of movement of the mining face along the section opening at distance of 5–10 m from the zone of unloading the rock mass by the mining face. Stability of the well is maintained against its destruction, thus ensuring coaxial alignment of drilling of all wells in the extraction section. Drilling rig is placed in the roadway passed between the drifts of the extraction section. Prior to drilling the well, rigidity of the drill string attachment is reduced, providing partial mobility of the rods during drilling on a solid layer of rocks. Straight borehole shape is used. At the well drilling section through the hard rock layer, the bit rotation speed and the drill string feed force are changed. Length of the well drilled in the contiguous coal bed is taken to be equal to the distance between the intermediate roadways with exceeding of it by 50–60 m.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of contiguous coal seam degassing, provision of specified volume of methane extraction from contiguous seam, normalization of gas mode in the area, increase of efficiency of production area in terms of gas factor and safety of mining operations, reduction of volumes of drilling and sealing of wells.
