SUBSTANCE: invention can be used, in particular, for fastening steps of stairs, while providing the ability to adjust the angle of inclination of the steps relative to the horizon. The mounting bracket assembly consists of mounting and rotating tabs, each of which consists of a base and a side wall perpendicular to it, the bases of the tabs contain at least one mounting hole, and a through arcuate groove is made on the side wall of the rotary tab, and the mounting and rotary tabs are connected by the side walls by means of two fasteners, one of which is the axis of rotation of the tabs, and the second is fixed in the side wall of the mounting tab with the ability to slide along the arcuate groove of the rotary tab, while the arcuate slot is made at a length allowing position the planes of the tab bases at an angle in the range of 25-90°, and the side wall of one of the legs comprises an additional through hole.

EFFECT: expanding the range of means that make it possible to provide a wide range of adjustment of the step inclination angle and sufficient reliability of fixing the required position of the step; the proposed mounting bracket assembly has wider functionality with a simple design.
