FIELD: processing of peat.
SUBSTANCE: proposed invention is related to extraction of peat, its drying, grinding and disposal to obtain feedstock for the production of various types of peat-based products, namely to obtain materials for the construction industry (production of cement, bricks, monolithic blocks). A movable device for collecting, drying and grinding milled peat contains a movable body using a pneumatic drive with a hinged fence for placing a peat agitator in form of brushes on a rotating hollow shaft and with a pipe looped around it for sucking peat particles through a bypass pipeline into the drying chamber located above the movable body and made with a gas distribution grid, an air duct and a nozzle for pumping hot air under the distribution grid, a peat grinder built into the dryer, consisting of a spring-loaded dispersing grid and a rotating perforated drum cylinder located above it with a gap, and a rotation drive of the perforated drum. The nozzle is made with a burner built into it for heating the air. The perforated drum is made with strips attached to it parallel to the axis of its rotation, and the spring-loaded dispersing grid is curved to a semicircle with a radius R = Rb + h, where R is the radius of the grid, m; Rb - drum radius, m; h – bar height, m.
EFFECT: increasing the drying intensity, ensuring production of a high-quality peat component for obtaining materials for construction industry (production of cement, bricks, monolithic blocks).
