SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to dispose of sludge from water treatment of filter stations to obtain humic fertilizer, which is used as a sorbent-ameliorant for the reclamation of disturbed lands contaminated with heavy metals (restoration of mine workings, flattening of slopes of landfills, planning of ash dumps, slag dumps), and to obtain material for construction industry (production of cement, bricks, monolithic blocks). In the method for preparing a mixture of tap water sludge with milled peat, a fluidized layer of the mixture is created with a height of H; sediments from water treatment of filter stations are mixed with milled peat in a ratio of 1.5:1 to 4:1; the upper level of the fluidized bed is limited with a dispersive grate installed below the height H. The height H is determined by the following expression: H = H0(1 - ε0)/(1 – ε), where ε0 is the porosity of the fixed layer of particles of the mixture; ε is the porosity of the fluidized bed of the particles of the mixture; H0 is the height of the fixed layer of the mixture which is determined by the following formula: H0=m/(Fρ), where m is the mass of the mixture material layer, kg; F is the area of the dispersing grid, m2; ρ is the density of the mixture material, kg/m3; dust particles are passed through this dispersing grid, and a grid in form of a filter mesh installed above the dispersing grid is used to capture them.

EFFECT: reuse of sludge from water treatment facilities, elimination of the need for energy-consuming processes during their dehydration and dispersion in the process of disposal.
