FIELD: marine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for reducing pitch and roll of waterborne crafts. The gyrostabilizer contains a rotor configured to rotate around the axis of rotation, and a stator. In this case, the rotor and the stator contain, respectively, a rotor assembly and a stator assembly. In this case, the rotor assembly is located radially outside the stator assembly relative to the axis of rotation. Moreover, the rotor and/or stator assembly contains magnets with a magnetic axis extending in the direction of the rotation axis. Moreover, the assembled rotor and/or stator magnets are assembled into a package with alternating directions of the magnetic field in the direction of the rotation axis.
EFFECT: improved reliability and reduced weight and size of the flywheel.
