FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: ultra-high-frequency emitters of electromagnetic energy. The microwave UHF emitter contains an electric current source, a UHF electromagnetic oscillation generator in the form of a magnetron and a waveguide. A waveguide made in the form of a piece of pipe made of a conductive material with open ends and a rectangular cross-section of the cavity, a width greater than the height, contains at one of the ends a quarter-wave resonator with a rectangular cavity, the cavity width is less than the width of the waveguide cavity, and a hole in one of the wide walls opposite quarter-wave resonator cavity for input of the magnetron antenna, in the middle of the second end there is a plate socket with a width equal to one-third of the width of the waveguide cavity, and a length no greater than the length of the quarter-wave resonator cavity, and plate conductors on the outside of the wide walls of the waveguide, isolated from the waveguide surface by a dielectric gap and connecting the edges of the wide sides of the opposite ends of the waveguide on both sides of the quarter-wave resonator and the bell and forming closed conducting surfaces together with the internal surfaces of the waveguide.

EFFECT: increased intensity of electromagnetic energy radiation along the axis of the waveguide cavity.
