FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of hydroponic and structural heat-insulating materials and is used for hydromicas bloating by means of microwave energy. Method of bloating is based on the fact that the processed material is exposed to microwave radiation when it is transferred on a radio-transparent conveyor belt through a multimode reactor, note here that modes with horizontal polarization of electric field vector E are selected at level of conveyor belt location plane and their amplitude is increased due to formation of standing waves under conveyor belt and additionally affect hydromica dislocation from opposite side of conveyor. Device comprises multimode reactor 1 with device 2 of processed material and device 3 of unloaded bloating hydromica, made in the form of systems of out-of-limit waveguides, limiting emission of microwave energy into outer space. Reactor is excited by waveguide 5 with magnetrons 6 installed on it. Under the radio-transparent conveyor belt there is metal box 7, the depth of which is equal to a quarter of the wavelength of microwave radiation 1/4λ0. This allows providing in-phase of the wave incident from the generator and the box reflected from the lower surface. System of slots 8 – concentrators of horizontal modes of electric field is made on upper surface of box located at conveyor belt 4 level. Slots length makes 1/2λ0.
EFFECT: increasing uniformity of bloating, increasing coefficient of bloating, improving temperature mode of conveyor belt.
