FIELD: engine building.
SUBSTANCE: compressor-type device contains at least one compressor cylinder containing a piston connected to the crankshaft by means of a connecting rod using a pin. Each compressor cylinder is connected to the internal combustion engine directly or through a gearbox to the engine crankshaft. Each compressor cylinder carries out a suction process in which the piston moves along the axis from the TDC position of the angular rotation of the crankshaft to the BDC position of the angular rotation of the crankshaft of the compressor cylinder and draws in the volume of air masses required by the internal combustion engine to produce maximum power in proportion. Following the suction process is the purge process, during which the piston moves upward from the BDC to the TDC so that excess drawn-in air masses are removed or forced out of the compressor cylinder as the piston moves axially towards the TDC. The purging process is accompanied by the exhaust process when the piston approaches the TDC, during which the remaining air masses drawn into the compressor cylinder are sent to the internal combustion engine, based on the current engine load requirements.
EFFECT: reducing energy losses in an internal combustion engine.
