FIELD: power engineering; chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of power engineering, in particular to development of compositions used as melted electrolytes for chemical current sources. Electrolyte contains lithium fluoride, lithium chloride, lithium chromate, potassium chloride, wherein lithium and potassium bromides are added to widen the range of concentrations with low melting point at the following ratio of components, wt.%: lithium fluoride 0.66–0.67, lithium chloride 23.87–24.71, lithium bromide 1.79–2.43, lithium chromate 24.76–25.12, potassium chloride 36.45–37.56, potassium bromide 10.15–11.83.
EFFECT: low melting point and wider range of using the electrolyte with a low melting point with a general reduction in the mixture of lithium salts.
