FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power engineering, in particular to development of mixtures used as molten electrolytes of medium-temperature chemical current sources. Electrolyte contains lithium fluoride, potassium chloride and sodium halide, wherein the sodium halide is its bromide with the following ratio of components, wt.%: lithium fluoride – 1.66…1.98; potassium chloride – 39.28…39.41; sodium bromide – 58.74…58.93.
EFFECT: reduction of specific enthalpy of electrolyte melting, which reduces power consumption for electrolyte melting and accelerates its bringing into working condition.
