FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to powder binder based on a cyanic composition and a method of producing a reinforced carbon composite based thereon. Powder binder containing 100 wt.pts. solid epoxy resin, 20–100 wt.pts. cyan ether and 10–100 wt.pts. bifunctional benzoxazine, and two versions of the method of producing the reinforced carbon composite using the disclosed powder binder.
EFFECT: avoiding use of solvents, as well as avoiding prolonged high-temperature heating of the binder when producing prepregs.
