FIELD: materials.
SUBSTANCE: composition and method of producing a composite material based on carbon fabrics by impregnation with phosphate binders and moulding in a vacuum bag. Can be used in aerospace, automotive, construction, shipbuilding, and other industries. The composite material includes a reinforcing filler and an aluminochrome phosphate binder, with carbon fabric chosen as the reinforcing filler and an aluminophosphate, aluminoborophosphate or aluminochrome phosphate binder as the binder in the following ratio of components, parts by weight: carbon fabric 100, phosphate binder 70-140. The carbon fabric is impregnated with a phosphate binder at a temperature of 0-10°C followed by holding at a temperature of 60-80°C for 30-60 minutes, the resulting prepreg is laid layer by layer on the equipment, formed in a vacuum bag and cured under vacuum at a residual pressure of 50 mbar with a temperature rise to 200°C at a rate of 1-3 degrees/min. After cooling, the product is removed and heat treated at 350°C for 1 hour. When producing a composite material, electrocorundum powder can be applied to the carbon fibre before impregnation. After final drying of the composite, it is coated with an epoxy binder.
EFFECT: production of a composite material with high strength properties while reducing the duration of the process.
