FIELD: chemistry; technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of pellet powder. In order to obtain spherical powder for construction and assembly cartridges, powder lacquer is prepared while mixing in an aqueous medium of a powder mass consisting of high-nitrogen pyroxylin based on flax, nitroglycerine, a chemical resistance stabilizer, with a solvent ethyl acetate. Powder lacquer is dispersed into spherical particles. Powder elements are dehydrated and solvent is removed from them. Cellulose nitrates used are a powder mass based on linseed cellulose, mixed in an aqueous medium for 20 to 40 minutes, Na2SO4 is added in amount of 0.1 wt.%, 2.0 to 2.8 wt.pts of ethyl acetate are poured. Powder lacquer is prepared for 60 to 70 minutes. Lacquer is dispersed with the addition of a combined emulsifier consisting of skin glue and gelatine in amount of 1.0 to 3.5 wt.% with respect to water. Spherical particles are dehydrated and ethyl acetate is removed from them.
EFFECT: specified physical-chemical and ballistic requirements to powder for construction-and-assembly cartridges are provided.
