FIELD: spherical powders obtaining.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of obtaining spherical powders (SFP) for small arms. Preparation of powder varnish is carried out with stirring in an aqueous medium of cellulose nitrate and diphenylamine with ethyl acetate, preparation of a dispersion medium. An emulsifier is added. Gelatin is used as an emulsifier in the amount of 0.7-1.0 wt. % with respect to the dispersion medium. Powder varnish is dispersed on spherical powder particles in a dispersion medium. Spherical powder particles are dehydrated and ethyl acetate is removed by heating the obtained spherical powder particles. Additionally, nitroglycerin is added. Pyroxylin I is used as cellulose nitrate. After removal of ethyl acetate, spherical powder particles are dusted with graphite.
EFFECT: production of granules with a diameter of 0.95-1.0 mm and with a density of 1.62-1.65 g/cm3 by water-dispersion technology is provided.
