FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the chemical industry, in particular to the technology of processing carbon nanomaterials with chemical reagents. In particular, the invention relates to a method of treating carbon nanomaterials, which consists in the fact that carbon nanomaterials are treated with either a nitrogen or a mixture of nitrogen and sulphur, or an acetic mixture with concentration of 12.5–75 wt.%, at temperatures of 100–120 °C for 3 hours in order to obtain carboxyl, anhydride and lactone functional groups on the surface of carbon nanomaterials, treated carbon nanomaterial is obtained by decomposition of carbon-containing gases in the presence of catalysts, which contains metals of 8th group of periodic table in amount of 90 wt.%, synthesis of which is carried out at temperature of 550 °C with a subsequent step of cooling and unloading the carbon nanomaterial in the form of granules.
EFFECT: high efficiency of methods for chemical treatment of carbon nanomaterials, which, in turn, lead to an increase in the content of functional groups.
