SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a donepezil-containing transdermal absorption preparation for the treatment of dementia. More particularly, the invention relates to a transdermal absorption preparation for the treatment of dementia, comprising a support layer, a drug-containing layer and a release layer, wherein the drug-containing layer contains donepezil or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof as an active ingredient; a metal thiocyanate salt (preferably a potassium salt) or dimethylthiourea as a stabilizer; and pressure sensitive adhesive.
EFFECT: invention provides a transdermal absorption formulation for the treatment of dementia with reduced formation of donepezil impurities.
