FIELD: personal protective equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to universal bulletproof vests, which can be used with provision of different classes of protection. Bulletproof vest, in particular, contains a device for quick release. Technical result is achieved due to creation of body armor containing separate modules: chest and back sections, made of high-modulus fabric and equipped with armored panels, wherein the bulletproof vest has a quick release device using a cable and a system of detachable units, including shoulder and lower units, wherein the quick release device includes two cable branches—left and right, each of which has a permanently connected short and long end, wherein the shoulder assemblies—left and right—are formed by loops of the back section and ends of the shoulder belts; lower shoulder unit is formed by left and right belt loops of the lower docking unit and, accordingly, belt loops of the left and right cummerbunds; short cable of the left cable branch passes through the right shoulder assembly, and the short cable of the right cable branch passes through the left shoulder assembly. Disclosed bulletproof vest meets modern requirements for protection, used materials and technologies, has a progressive device for quick release of bulletproof vest, effective in extreme conditions.
EFFECT: technical result of proposed invention consists in reduction of force, reduction of cable pulling distance, and hence, reduction of time required for operation of quick release device, which is very important in extreme conditions of its use.
