FIELD: armour.

SUBSTANCE: proposed invention is intended for use as splinterproof and bulletproof (armour protection) protection of a soldier, first of all for assault units. Result is achieved by creation of anti-splinter module to plate carrier west consisting of three sections: chest, shoulder and back sections, at that: thoracic section consists of a thoracic platform made of a plastic screen, to which Velcro is sewn on its entire surface on both sides, on which there are attached: lower screen, left and right splinter shields, from above – front splinter shield and assembly unit, and from inside thoracic section – climatic-shock-absorbing support; shoulder section consists of a shoulder anti-splinter screen with a cover, which includes: rear part covering the upper part of the soldier's back, shoulder part in the form of strips diverging from the back part forward, covering the soldier's shoulders, front part in the form of continuing shoulder wide strips, descending from the front on the upper part of the soldier’s chest, wherein the wide strips at the ends have a configuration with bifurcation of each of them into two ends: extended in the horizontal direction and extended downwards, bottom of the rear part has a contour with a horizontal section in the middle and sections diverging from it at an angle, which repeat the contour of the upper part of the armour plate of the plate carrier west, on the sides of the bottom of the rear part there are two protruding sections of the cover contour, wherein said shoulder section has Velcro fasteners sewn onto the cover to secure the following elements of the splinterproof module: central plate and side straps protruding in the lower opening of the rear part of the shoulder section – for attachment of the rear section, Velcro strip sewn onto the front rear surface for attachment of the rear splinter shield, Velcro fastener and sling sewn on wide strips in the shoulder area – for attachment of the shoulder guard; back section consists of a back platform made of a plastic screen, to which Velcro is sewn on its entire surface on both sides, on which left and right anti-splinter screens are attached, and a climatic shock-absorbing support is attached from the inside.

EFFECT: creation of a set of armour protection "splinterproof module-plate carrier west", which allows to reduce the weight of the splinterproof module due to exclusion of splinter protection zones under the armour plates, ensure reliable belt fixation of the plate carrier west on the splinterproof module due to tight coverage of the soldier’s body with side flexible panels and their tightening with the plate carrier west belt, which leads to transfer of the main weight of the set from the shoulders to the belt zone of the soldier, id est into the area of the centre of gravity of the person’s weight, due to which the back muscles are significantly relieved, which is especially positive in case of frequent forward inclinations of the soldier's body during the fighting day.
