FIELD: construction methods.
SUBSTANCE: methods for lifting loads used when performing repair work related to replacing power and energy equipment on an overhead crane installed in an industrial building. A collapsible lifting device consisting of support posts, a boom or monorail and a lifting device is delivered to the crane in disassembled form. The load and crane are moved to area between the roof trusses of building. Then the collapsible device is installed, observing the requirement for the location of the lifting device in the opening between the longitudinal beams of the crane, while ensuring the distance between the ceiling of the building and its top point is at least 0.1 m, after which the load is lifted through the opening.
EFFECT: ensuring the possibility of lifting/lowering heavy loads onto an overhead crane installed in an industrial building during its repair and reducing the time and cost of performing work.
