FIELD: thermal power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to devices used to protect a steam turbine from acceleration by the reverse flow of steam from steam extraction lines when the turbine generator is disconnected from the network or in an emergency shutdown. The device contains a check valve, a servomotor with a rod and a piston, a spring designed to create a force on the check valve in the direction of its closing, a linear gear motor, the output rod of which is located in a chamber under the servomotor piston, a controlled clutch and a lever system that provides kinematic coupling of the rod servomotor with controlled clutch.
EFFECT: increase of reliability of the device for protecting a steam turbine and reduction of maintenance and repair costs.
