FIELD: quantum cryptography.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device contains the following structural elements: a semiconductor laser operating in continuous mode; amplitude modulator, made in the form of a symmetrical Mach-Zehnder interferometer and consisting of a disconnector, a combiner, narrowband and broadband phase modulators; an additional disconnector installed after the amplitude modulator combiner before the broadband phase modulator; an adjustable optical attenuator installed after the broadband phase modulator and made in the form of a disconnector, two narrowband phase modulators and an X-shaped coupler; an additional adjustable optical attenuator installed before entering the quantum channel and made in the form of two narrow-band amplitude modulators and a combiner.
EFFECT: improved resistance of a quantum telecommunication system to quantum errors, as well as to attacks on the quantum telecommunication system carried out on the sender's side.
