SUBSTANCE: invention relates to location detection. Forming pairs of anchors made on the basis of transceivers with timers, for exchanging messages according to a predetermined schedule, calibrating each pair of anchors to determine delays in the anchors of the pair using a reference mark, said pairs of anchors exchange at least two messages, attached to the object at least one mark sequentially receives messages transmitted in series by at least three pairs of anchors, registers the time of reception of these messages, decodes the service information contained in these messages, and determines duration of time between time moments of receiving messages from pairs of anchors taking into account performed calibration, at least one mark attached to the object determines its location based on the known location of the anchors and the duration of time between the time moments of receiving messages from the pairs of anchors.

EFFECT: providing the possibility of accurate and fast detection of its location by an unlimited number of marks.
