STREPTOMYCES CANDIDUS S-0028 VIZR BACTERIAL STRAIN TO PROTECT POTATOES FROM LARVAE AND IMAGO OF COLORADO POTATO BEETLE LEPTINOTARSA DECEMLINEATA SAY Russian patent published in 2024 - IPC C12N1/20

Abstract RU 2814223 C1

FIELD: agricultural microbiology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agricultural microbiology and plant protection from larvae of age 1-4 and imago of the Colorado potato beetle, is a strain producing a complex of biologically active substances with antifidant and entomocidal effects. It can be used to obtain a biological preparation against larvae of 1-4 age and imago of the Colorado potato beetle during the growing season. A strain of Streptomyces candidus 0028 VIZR was selected, which has high antifidant and entomocidal activity against larvae of age 1-4 and imago of the Colorado potato beetle to protect potatoes during the growing season and is promising as a producer of a biological product. The conducted studies have shown high efficiency of spraying plants during the growing season with a suspension of the S. candidus 0028 VIZR strain with a titer of 108-109 CFU/ml at a flow rate of 300 l/ha, 2- it is multiple in relation to larvae of 1-4 age and imago of the Colorado potato beetle. The biological effectiveness of the strain during the growing season against the pest is 70-80%. The yield increase reached 48-52% and significantly exceeded the yield increase in the biological standard (21%).

EFFECT: high efficiency of invention.
