SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method of placing information inside a candle, as well as to a device for placing information inside the candle. Proposed method consists in applying symbols or image on article with minimum bending stiffness of 2 mN∙m. Then, a protective coating is applied on the article, which makes it possible to see the symbols or image that are under it, does not enter into chemical reactions with the material of the candle under the action of temperatures formed in the materials of the candle during its burning under the flame, and also protects the applied symbols or image from distortion. Further, a candle is made and an article with applied symbols or an image and a protective coating is placed into the molten material of the candle.
EFFECT: simplifying the technological process of placing information inside the candle, providing stability of the stored information to chemical and thermal effects on the part of the candle material during its burning.
