FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to sorbents for recovery of oil-contaminated lands, elimination of accidental oil spillages, disposal of drilling waste products. A sorbent- activator of native soil oil-oxidizing microorganisms is claimed, which represents nano-structured carbon-silica composite. This sorbent contains silicon oxide, carbon and trace elements with the following ingredient ratio, wt.%: silicon oxide (SiO₂) 25÷75, carbon (C) 15÷65, copper (Cu) 2.5÷3.6, aluminum (Al) 1.0÷2.0, iron (Fe) 0.5÷1, potassium (K) 0.5÷0.8, magnesium (Mg) 0.3÷1, Sulphur (S) 0.3÷1, calcium (Ca) 0.2÷0.9. A method for production of sorbent-activators includes heating the mixture consisting of 6 weight parts of schungite and 1-24 weight parts of hydrolysis lignin up to a temperature of 100±10°C and subsequent mixture carbonization with gradual temperature increase up to 700±20°C. The process is carried out in argon or nitrogen medium. The obtained product is crushed, washed with water and dried.

EFFECT: invention allows to improve biodestruction efficiency of oil and oil products in the soil and ground.
