FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to treatment of spent fluid medium formed during petrochemical process. Method of treatment includes subjecting at least one first stream (8) of waste water to treatment in at least one stage (24) of concentration by freezing, to obtain a third pure water stream (26) and fourth stream (28) of concentrated water-based waste water. At least one second stream (10) of spent fluid based on organic fluid is subjected to at least one separation step (30) to obtain fifth stream (32) of purified product and sixth stream (34) of concentrated waste fluid based on organic fluid medium. Fourth stream (28) of the concentrated waste water on a water basis and sixth stream (34) of the concentrated waste fluid medium based on the organic fluid medium are directed to the waste incineration plant (16) and the incineration of streams (28, 34) in incinerator (16) wastes. Method is controlled by means of control unit so that combustion of sixth stream (34) of concentrated spent fluid medium based on organic fluid medium generates at least 70% of energy required for combustion of fourth stream (28) of concentrated waste water on water basis.

EFFECT: reducing the amount of energy supplied to the process from outside.
