FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to phthisiology, and can be used for diagnosing tuberculosis in patients with limited opacification in lungs. Anamnesis is collected, including age, phthisiology group, fact of alcohol consumption, presence of contact with patient with tuberculosis, presence of oncological disease, presence of focal formations detected by radiation method of examination. Peripheral venous blood is sampled, and the level of stab neutrophils and lymphocytes in the blood sample is determined. Thereafter, the patient is identified as belonging to a group of patients with tuberculosis (R) by a given formula. If the R value is less than or equal to 0, the presence of tuberculosis is diagnosed in the patient with limited pulmonary opacification, and if R is more than 0, the absence of tuberculosis is diagnosed in the patient with limited pulmonary opacification.

EFFECT: method enables diagnosing tuberculosis with limited pulmonary opacification without detecting bacterial excretion by evaluating a combination of the most significant values.
