SUBSTANCE: pulmonary tuberculosis with multiple drug resistance is predicted in the patients newly diagnosed with pulmonary tuberculosis (PT) by determining the pre-therapeutic blood CD45R0⁺ memory T-cell, CD3⁺CD4⁽CD25^+hl and CD4⁺CD25⁺Foxp3^- regulatory T-cell, CD3⁺CD4⁺CD25^- T-helper counts. Linear classification functions are calculated by equations: d₁=-14.0015-0,0626xx₁+0,.5181xx₂+2.4285xx₃+0.2255xx₄ and d₂=-22.6954-0.1710xx₁+0.6689xx₂+3.1202xx₃+0.3229xx₄, wherein x₁, x₂, x₃, x₄ are the numbers of the CD45R0⁺ memory T-cell, CD3⁺CD4⁺CD25^+hi and CD4⁺CD25⁺Foxp3^- regulatory T-cell, CD3⁺CD4⁺CD25^- T-helper subpopulations, respectively. If observing d₁<d₂, tuberculosis with agent's multiple drug resistance is predicted.

EFFECT: enabled high-probability prediction of a tuberculosis therapy option and applicability of therapeutic correction measures.
