FIELD: geophysics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of seismic research in water areas, namely to means of providing research using a hardware-software complex of marine seismic exploration and monitoring in transit zones and on shelf based on improved autonomous bottom seismic stations. Essence of the invention is that the geophysical laboratory for bottom seismic stations comprises a housing made in the form of a standard container fixed on a ship, in which inner space of housing is divided into functional clusters, made in the form of separate cells of the same functional purpose, combined into racks, fixed along opposite walls of the container. Each cell is equipped with a connector-catcher, which is installed in the depth of the cell near the container wall and has a central protrusion with a contact group and a protrusion of the guide bushing located around it. Connector is configured to center the switching unit of a separate station and its switching with the power supply system and the data transmission system when the station is installed in the cell. Laboratory is equipped with a synchronization system configured to synchronize the time of the laboratory with the accurate GPS/Glonass time, as well as the settings of the quartz generators of the stations, synchronization and reconciliation of their internal clocks with accurate time at the beginning and at the end of seismic data collection.
EFFECT: reduced time for maintenance of stations due to increased convenience of their operation, which considerably increases efficiency of seismic survey.
