Device for lifting and moving patients includes a power source, a traverse fixed on the belt for lifting and lowering, a movable and support rails with a busbar installed in the movable and support rails, lifting unit fixed on support rail by means of roller supports, each of which contains two axles. Lifting unit includes a lifting mechanism with a belt for lifting and lowering, a control unit and a command collection board. Lifting mechanism includes a brushless motor equipped with three Hall sensors, coaxially connected to a three-stage planetary reduction gear and a lifting drum with a belt for lifting and lowering. Lifting drum comprises a locking mechanism including a movable retainer arranged on the platform of the lifting drum, fixed on the lifting drum by a spring. Lifting drum housing comprises internal toothed profile.
