FIELD: ship-building. SUBSTANCE: device includes portal cranes mounted above cut in center portion of ship, sectional cargo-carrying members connected with cargo-gripping mechanisms and hoisting- supporting mechanism. Each section of above-mentioned member is made in from of flat belt with connecting units at its ends for interconnecting the sections. Hoisting- supporting mechanism is provided with two vertical beams whose lower ends are rigidly connected with horizontal cross-piece and upper ends are articulated on portal crane; it is also provided with transverse beam movably mounted on vertical beams and provided with drive for setting it in motion.
