FIELD: tank armor protection device.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a tank armor protection device. The protection element is a steel shaft. On the one hand, the shaft ends with a truncated ball, on the other hand with slotted slots for placing the drive impeller. A support bearing is placed between the truncated ball and the spline part. An impeller is mounted on the spline part of the drive shaft. The protection element is placed in a pneumatic capsule. The pneumatic capsule is a steel or polymer hollow cylinder with holes for supplying compressed air. The air injection required for the rotation of the protective elements of the system is carried out by a turbocharger.
EFFECT: increase in the ability of protective elements to withstand shock load is achieved due to the kinetic energy obtained.
