SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology intended for dispersing fog over controlled objects, for example at airfields, expressways, where driving vehicles requires compliance with visibility range requirements. A device for dispersing fog by separating droplets comprises a fan installed in the air channel with a drive, on the axis of which a filter element is fixed, made in the form of a disk filled with an open-pore filter material. The filter element of the device is equipped with partitions made of waterproof material that separate the filter material into fragments that come into contact with each other along surfaces oriented at an acute angle to the radius of the disk.

EFFECT: reduction in the aerodynamic resistance of the filter element to the advancement of the air flow stream, an increase in the range of movement of the air flow cleared of fog droplets, and an increase in the efficiency of fog dispersion.
